Preventive Vet’s Digital Client Education Terms of Use
You have purchased a monthly or annual subscription license that includes the right to use our 101 Essential Tips books and Pet InfoRx® for distribution to your hospital’s clients. One subscription is required per practice location.
101 Essential Tips Digital Books
Your subscription license includes a link to your own custom dashboard. We suggest that your staff bookmark the link to your dashboard.
Within your dashboard, you'll find a book redemption link to share with your clients so that they can have access to your hospital-branded digital books. These links are unique to your veterinary practice.
How to use your redemption link
Your redemption link MAY be used in client emails, client texts, on invoices, on posters in your practice, in handouts, within your hospital's app, and other direct forms of client communication. You may also use it at community events and other events where you are promoting your hospital. You may put your link on your website provided that it is not on your homepage. For example, you can put the book link on a Resources page.
How you can not use your redemption link
Your redemption link CAN NOT be used in general public settings such as your hospital's social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, etc.), and mass communication (e.g., promotions and advertising).
Term of use
We reserve the right to issue you a new redemption link if we find that its intended use has been compromised (e.g., if a disproportionate amount of accounts are being created using your redemption link and the users are not your clients). We reserve the right to terminate your subscription if the terms of use are not adhered to.
Term of use: digital book downloads (PDFs)
Users have the ability to download a personalized version of your hospital-branded book. This personalized version of the book contains the user's email address on the book cover of the PDF file, and it is password protected using the user's digital books account password. This PDF version is for personal use only and may not be shared. Sharing violates the terms of use and copyright laws.
Pet InfoRx®
Your subscription includes a license to use customized information prescriptions, Pet InfoRxs. You are provided with a personalized URL that has the InfoRx web links and PDFs that have been customized with your practice’s logo and contact information.
Unlimited use of these links and PDFs can be shared with any client under your care during the subscription term. They can be used any way you directly communicate with your clients (examples include email, print, text, and messaging software).
Renewal
Your subscription renews automatically. Four days before it renews you will receive a notification email. Your renewal rate is based on the total number of full-time equivalent veterinarians you have on staff. If you have changed tiers during the course of the subscription term please contact us prior to your renewal. See our store for the rate tiers.
Failure to Renew
101 Essential Tips books: If your subscription is not renewed, we will disable the ability to create new accounts with it. All your clients who have already created accounts will not be affected and they may continue to have access to the digital books you gifted them.
Pet InfoRx: If your subscription is not renewed, the links and PDFs will no longer be customized with your practice’s information. However, you will be able to continue using the URL Preventive Vet provided you to access the generic Pet InfoRx versions. Any PDFs you previously downloaded with your branding may no longer be used or distributed.
